This video was submitted in a contest through the AARP by a 20 year old, in order to define "You at 50". This video won second place, and it so simple though very thought provoking. Sometimes marketing can be complex, and other times and for specific subjects, the more clever and simple the message- the better it is received.
I really liked this, and I hope you do too.

The Letter B
B is for Balloons! Which adorned Stephanie's chair at Theo's after her engagement celebration happy hour! Congrats Steph, I've never seen you so happy!! Jimbo is one lucky guy (will it say James or Jimbo on the invite?!?)

B is for Boston! I spent two days in Boston last week working from that office, and thought it was such an incredible city! Our cab driver was a true historian (or really knew how to squeeze a few extra tip bucks out of his patrons) and gave me the best "run down" of historical sites. Now, I am a true fan of Elements of Style blog, and I often fawn over the brownstones that Erin posts, and in real life they are just as quaint and perfect as ever. During my night stay, my boss and I ate at the oldest restaurant in America, and there is even a booth dedicated to JFK because he frequented the Oyster House so often!

On my real birthday, one of my favorite bands Full House (famous in my life for playing at Lhall's wedding, where I did not leave the dance floor....and drank champagne from the bottle...I digress....) was at Powerhouse. I had a great meal with some of my girlfriends, and enjoyed the music! Thank you for helping me celebrate!
B is also for Baseball! (OK i feel a little like sesame street). What would a spring baseball game be without a nice photo op with Pork Chop?

Nothin’, but blue skies, do I see
The 4 day journey through Western Colorado was amazing. Stayed at a cabin outside of Gunnison for two nights. Skied the first day at Crested Butte, hiked the Black Canyon on day two, and played around Grand Junction taking a nice drive through the Colorado Monument on day three! It was great to spend that much time with my dad, and enjoy the places that he loves.

Ode to Serena Vanderwoodsen

Okay, I don't know if I've ever discussed my insane obsession and girl crush on the show Gossip Girl. Michelle totally got me hooked when it first came out, and it has been what I most look forward to on Monday nights. The fashion, the backstabbing, the fabulous life, the romance, the hotties- need I say more? (Yes, I'm still a Chuck Bass fan regardless of his weekly disappointments and trysts with call girls named Elle, and could Nate be any hotter right now? I think not. Lucky B. Queen B that is.)
So, for those of you who have heard me re-hash my all too realistic dreams, this may not come as a surprise, but I had the BEST dream last night that Serena and I were roomies. We lived in the most amazing flat (because condo isn't quite the right word), decked out to the T. Can you imagine sharing that closest?? In my dream I knew it was true when I saw the classic "Prada" art on the wall. The funny part was, we lived on Dickson (though she travels regularly to remote locations and currently is buzzing around Spain).
Needless to say, waking up was a little difficult this morning..and I sure wish I could raid her closest for tomorrow night. Sigh.
XOXO,
Gossip Girl

Slacking. I know.
My Ramblings:
You know how some weeks just sail by slowly, with plenty of time and minimal stress? That has not been my life lately! With two of my besties getting married in June; the parties, the showers, the bachlorettes, and the actual Weddings are just around the corner. Matt and I booked a last minute trip to Colorado for this weekend to visit my dad (skiing, fishing, hiking, etc), and I can't wait to break away from everyday life and be outside enjoying spring! I'm also working in our Boston office for a few days next week, so honestly the traveling has only begun!
Besides all that, there is tennis- I won my first doubles match with Michelle last week, and I play again tonight- so hopefully I keep the winning streak up.
I will post beautiful pictures of the mountains next week. Here are a few shots from my visit last year!
